Anglican 1000 Church Planting Summit 2011: Save the Date!
Anglican 1000 Church Planting Summit 2011 will be held January 25-27, 2011 in Plano, Texas. We are excited to announce that Tim Keller will be the featured speaker! The author of numerous books including The Reason for God, The Prodigal God, and Counterfeit Gods, Tim is noted for his ability to win skeptical New Yorkers to faith and partnering with other churches for mercy ministry and church planting. He is the senior pastor of Redeemer Presbyterian Church in New York City and also helps to lead Redeemer City to City (formerly Redeemer Church Planting Center) - an organization which exists to focus on church planting for the renewal of global cities and content resources for leaders who want to bring the power of the gospel to every part of life in order to catalyze and serve a global movement of leaders who create new churches, new ventures, and new expressions of the gospel of Jesus Christ for the common good. I have sat under Tim Keller’s preaching from the Fall of 1994 until moving to Tampa FL this summer, and I can tell you that the Christ centered content of his preaching is so powerful and thought provoking he is able to captivate and inspire thousands of New York City’s “young up and coming professionals.”
For him to come to Denver for your next Anglican 1000 Church Planting Summit may mark the beginning of a new revival from God to combat the forces of darkness that have encroached the body of Christ in the United States, especially in the Episcopal Church in America.
As it is written in Isaiah 59:19, “So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.”
